Full Stack Developer (Remote | Philippines)

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who writes clean, testable code, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes true ownership of what they build.

Role Summary:

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack from frontend interfaces to backend systems and APIs.
You’ll write modular, high-quality code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and own the delivery of new features from concept to production. This is a fully remote role for developers who love autonomy, technical challenge, and seeing their work deliver tangible value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write modular, reusable, and testable code across frontend and backend systems.

• Take ownership of projects drive decisions, deliver results, and ensure code quality.

• Develop new features and APIs leveraging existing systems, even without detailed mockups.

• Focus on user experience and usability, testing features from the end-user perspective.

• Collaborate with QA to ensure robustness and scalability of new releases.

• Partner with Product and Design teams to validate feasibility and improve upcoming changes.

• Continuously refactor, optimize, and improve code performance.

• Support a culture of code reviews, testing, and CI/CD best practices.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer using modern Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong backend experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django preferred).

• Hands-on experience with GraphQL.

• Proficiency in React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.

• Experience with Kafka and Redis (or similar streaming/caching technologies).

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design.

• Advocate of modern Python practices (async/await, type hints, Pydantic, data classes).

• Familiarity with AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Comfortable integrating REST APIs and working in data-rich environments.

• Excellent communication skills and a self-driven, proactive mindset.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment, or similar analytics platforms.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data modeling for analytics.

• Background in building internal tools or developer experience improvements.

• Experience in startups or scale-ups, where autonomy and speed matter.

Reporting Line and Working Pattern:

• Reports to: Technical Lead or Head of Engineering

• Fully remote, Philippines-based position

• Work schedule: Flexible, with overlap on US time zones (EST or PST)
