We’re hiring a Head of Events to build and lead magentIQ’s global events function—shaping how we show up in the market through executive experiences, industry events, and high-impact field marketing.
If you’re a strategic operator, creative systems thinker, and builder who loves turning events into real commercial outcomes, this role is your chance to own and scale an outcome-driven events engine from the ground up. This is a fully remote, Philippines-based opportunity where you’ll collaborate with founders, GTM, and content teams across global time zones in a fast-scaling, automation-first tech environment.
Role Summary:
As the Head of Events, you’ll design and manage magentIQ’s end-to-end events strategy—owning how events drive pipeline, credibility, and executive engagement. You’ll lead the planning and execution of global experiences including private dinners, executive roundtables, conferences, webinars, and proprietary magentIQ events.
This is not a logistics-only role. You’ll be the architect behind a high-signal, commercially aligned events portfolio—ensuring every event has a clear purpose, narrative, and measurable outcome aligned with GTM priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Build and own magentIQ’s global events strategy, covering owned, partnered, and third-party events.
Design and maintain an annual events roadmap aligned to GTM priorities, ICPs, and regional focus.
Lead executive and founder-led experiences, including private dinners, roundtables, and curated salons.
Partner closely with founders to shape agendas, narratives, and speaking engagements.
Own end-to-end event execution: planning, timelines, budgets, vendors, agencies, and logistics.
Build repeatable event playbooks to scale successful formats across regions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with GTM and Sales to align events to pipeline and account-based strategies.
Define target audiences, invitation strategies, and follow-up motions to ensure commercial impact.
Partner with Content teams to turn events into reusable content, insights, and thought leadership.
Define and track event success metrics beyond attendance—engagement quality, pipeline influence, and ROI.
Continuously optimize formats, investments, and audiences based on performance data.
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years in events leadership, field marketing, or experiential marketing roles.
Proven experience designing and executing executive-level B2B events.
Strong commercial understanding of how events support GTM and pipeline outcomes.
Experience managing multiple events in parallel with high attention to detail.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to operate independently in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in B2B tech, AI, SaaS, consulting, or professional services.
Experience working directly with founders or senior executives.
Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) and sales-aligned event strategies.
Experience running events across multiple regions or geographies.
Strong instinct for senior, credible, high-signal experiences (not promotional fluff).
Reporting Line and Working Pattern
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Fully remote, Philippines-based, with collaboration across global time zones.
Occasional flexibility required to support live events across regions.
