Head of Content (AI & Automation | Remote | Philippines)

We’re hiring a Head of Content to build and lead magentIQ’s content engine — defining how our ideas, insights, and point of view are communicated to the world. This role sits at the intersection of editorial leadership, founder communications, and thought leadership for an AI and automation platform trusted by forward-thinking operators and technology leaders.

If you’re a strategic writer, editorial leader, and systems thinker who can turn complex AI and operational concepts into clear, compelling narratives, this is your opportunity to own and scale content at a global level. This is a fully remote, Philippines-based role, working closely with founders and senior leaders across time zones.

Role Summary

As Head of Content, you’ll define magentIQ’s editorial voice and oversee all long-form, short-form, and executive-level content. You’ll be responsible for shaping our narrative across blogs, newsletters, social, podcasts, and founder communications — ensuring clarity, consistency, and credibility at every touchpoint.

This is not a traditional content manager role. You’ll operate as a writer-editor and strategic partner to leadership, capable of working independently, translating complex ideas into sharp messaging, and producing content that stands alongside leading global AI and technology brands.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial Strategy & Leadership

• Define and maintain magentIQ’s editorial voice, tone, and messaging architecture.

• Own the content roadmap across blogs, newsletters, podcasts, social, and thought leadership.

• Ensure narrative consistency across all channels, audiences, and formats.

• Translate complex AI, automation, and operational transformation concepts into clear stories.

Founder & Executive Communications

• Ghostwrite for the CEO, COO, and founders across LinkedIn, articles, scripts, keynote content, and media commentary.

• Develop founder-level thought leadership aligned to industry trends and magentIQ’s core IP.

• Prepare briefing notes, messaging frameworks, and content drafts for external appearances and interviews.

Content Creation (Multi-Format)

• Write long-form blogs, POV pieces, reports, case studies, and customer stories.

• Manage podcast production end-to-end (guest coordination, prep notes, scripting, summaries).

• Produce high-quality newsletters and product or feature announcements.

• Repurpose content efficiently across formats to maximize reach and impact.

Content Operations & Quality

• Own the editorial calendar and publishing workflows.

• Partner with designers, video editors, and freelancers to deliver multimedia content.

• Set and maintain high editorial standards across all outputs.

• Establish and track content KPIs, measuring reach, engagement, and quality.

Market & Media Awareness

• Monitor AI, automation, and operations trends for timely commentary opportunities.

• Identify moments where magentIQ should insert its voice into industry conversations.

• Surface insights from customers, analysts, and market signals to inform future content.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years in content leadership, editorial management, journalism, or similar roles.

• Exceptional written English across long-form, short-form, and executive communications.

• Proven ability to ghostwrite in multiple voices (founder, executive, analytical, conversational).

• Strong editorial judgement with the ability to simplify technical concepts.

• Experience producing or coordinating multimedia content (podcasts, video, audio).

• Comfortable working independently with senior stakeholders in fast-moving environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Background in AI, SaaS, automation, consulting, or technology-driven industries.

• Experience supporting founders or executive teams directly.

• Familiarity with content analytics, performance tracking, and editorial KPIs.

• Strong instinct for narrative positioning and brand differentiation.

Reporting Line & Working Pattern

• Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

• Fully remote, Philippines-based

• Collaboration with global leadership teams across US and EU time zones
